Withdraw from the Paris climate agreement

Project 2025 recommends withdrawal from the Paris Agreement and the UN climate convention. The January 2025 executive order directed withdrawal, and the Paris Agreement withdrawal took effect in January 2026.

Project 2025 said

The next Administration should withdraw the United States from the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement.
